  Falloons was started by Lesley in 2016. She is now a 15-year old sophomore at a Westchester County, NY High School outside Manhattan. A few summers ago, with the encouragement and silent investing of her grandmother in Ohio, she started a small business making, what her mom named, Falloons (flip flops with balloons). Almost immediately, she secured distribution at Sammy + Nat's baby and children's store in Rye NY, where Lesley can often be found helping out. She makes each pair by hand, sometimes with helpers, but the designs and color combinations are always her vision.

 

She is an accomplished, en pointe ballerina, after nearly a decade of study. Lesley also plays the harp, is a seasoned skier, a golfer for fun, and a member of the school’s Field Hockey team, among other school activities. She is an ice cream enthusiast, who, in her free time, likes every kind of crafting or styling clothes. She has a beagle and an older brother, who also attends high school. Most recently Lesley has been reporting for the hyperlocal News 12, as an Education Ambassador.
